The Ultimate desired impact of the project is to contribute to healthy lives and promote well-being for all by supporting COVID-19 vaccination in oPT.
This project aims to boost community resilience and improve awareness against communicable and non-communicable diseases, and ensure preventative measures, with a particular focus on women and vulnerable groups. The project will build the capacities of healthcare providers in the most vulnerable areas to respond to emergency situations through various evidence-based training.
The one year project targets different segments of the Palestinian society including Women, youth, people with disability, elderly, school children, university students, and health care providers in raising awareness, building capacity, and developing advocates and catalysts of change in community health promotion, prevention, and GBV. The project will target six governorates: Tubas, Hebron, Ramallah and Jenin in the West Bank and 2 governorates in Gaza for training and community interventions; and all 16 governorates in West Bank and Gaza for health facility support as well as national campaign activities.
