Breast Cancer Awareness Month Podcast: “From Awareness to Treatment”
A special podcast as part of the Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign, produced in collaboration with the Palestinian Ministry of Health.
In this episode, we host Dr. Samar Taha, Director of the Women’s Health and Development Unit, and Dr. Ruqayya Faqih, Director of the Maternal and Child Health Department, to discuss breast cancer awareness and early detection, the role of primary healthcare clinics, as well as referral mechanisms, treatment plans, and continuity of care.
The campaign, “Your Health Deserves Attention… Early Detection Makes a Difference,” is implemented in partnership with Welthungerhilfe (WHH), Diakonie Katastrophenhilfe (DKH), and International Orthodox Christian Charities (IOCC), with support from the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).
The campaign is also implemented in collaboration with the Palestinian Ministry of Health, the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA), and Augusta Victoria Hospital in Jerusalem.
