The 6th MENA Region Adolescent Health Conference has officially kicked off in Tunis

Juzoor for Health and Social Development, on behalf of the Arab Coalition for Adolescent Health & Medicine and in partnership with IPPF, proudly opened the conference under the theme:

“From Challenges to Solutions: A Holistic Approach to Adolescents’ Well-Being.”

The conference was opened by Dr. Umaiyeh Khammash, Chair of the Arab Coalition for Adolescent Health & Medicine, followed by remarks from:

• Dr. Fadwa Bakhadda, Director-General, International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF)

• Prof. Mohamed Douagi, Representative, Tunisian Ministry of Health

• Dr. Montaser Kamal, Representative, International Development Research Centre (IDRC)

• Dr. Nicole Jones, Representative, GAGE

• Mr. Mohamed Milouchi, Representative, Arab Youth Association

The opening brought together policymakers, youth leaders, academics, and regional partners including GAGE, IDRC, EMPHNET, ATSR, FP2030, and Care Direct — to advance adolescent health and well-being.

Highlights included “Gaza Youth: Stories of Resilience” and an Adolescent Talents Showcase, celebrating creativity, hope, and the power of youth voices.
