Juzoor Organizes Recreational Day for Children with Disabilities in Gaza
On the occasion of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, and 787 days after the aggression on the Gaza Strip, during which persons with disabilities continue to call for protection and a dignified life, Juzoor for Health and Social Development, in partnership with the Palestinian Guidance Center, organized a recreational day for children, including children with disabilities, in Deir Al-Balah.
More than 100 children participated in the event, which included a variety of engaging activities aimed at promoting mental health and providing psychological and social support. The event also emphasized the inclusion of persons with disabilities in various community activities, particularly those supporting mental health.
This event comes as part of Juzoor and its partners’ ongoing efforts to create a safe and supportive environment for children in the Gaza Strip, especially children with disabilities, amid the difficult humanitarian conditions the region is facing.
