Joint Cooperation Agreement with Baituna Youth Organization – Gaza

Juzoor for Health and Social Development in Gaza signed a joint cooperation agreement with Baitna Youth Foundation, aiming to activate the role of youth in Gaza and enable their participation in Juzoor’s Youth Council " Young Juzoor"

The agreement was signed on behalf of Juzoor by Dr. Yahya Abed, General Director of the organization in the Gaza Strip, and on behalf of Beitna Youth Foundation by Mr. Adnan Al-Kafarna, Director of the foundation in Gaza.

The cooperation aims to strengthen joint efforts in youth empowerment through specialized training courses, periodic meetings, educational trips and visits, and active participation in studying community issues and challenges and contributing to the development of practical solutions. This will enhance the role of youth as an advisory youth council supporting the organization’s programs.

Juzoor’s Youth Council is considered one of the leading youth initiatives. It was launched two years ago in the West Bank and now offers youth in Gaza the opportunity to join. The council serves as an interactive platform that aims to empower Palestinian youth and enhance their active participation in health and community issues. It provides a safe and supportive space for youth to express their opinions, develop leadership skills, and contribute to the design and implementation of health initiatives that reflect their needs and aspirations.

The council includes a diverse group of young women and men from various disciplines and backgrounds, including media, medicine, law, and community work, with the participation of youth with disabilities and representatives of youth organizations. This reflects Juzoor’s commitment to inclusion, diversity, and equitable participation. The council’s term extends for two years, during which members receive opportunities for training and capacity building, participate in the preparation and implementation of youth campaigns and initiatives, and work directly with the organization’s staff on its various projects.
