Intergenerational exchange activity / Birzeit Seniors Club
In an atmosphere filled with warmth, affection, and meaningful human connection, Juzoor implemented an intergenerational exchange activity at the Birzeit Seniors Club, bringing together older persons and youth in an interactive space that enabled them to exchange cultures, memories, and experiences, while reinforcing values of respect, mutual understanding, and stronger bonds between generations.
The activity included a variety of engaging activities and cognitive stimulation games that created a joyful and lively environment. Approximately 45 older persons from the towns of Birzeit and Atara participated, and gifts from parcels previously delivered to the club were also distributed.
This activity is part of the project “Promoting Elderly People’s Rights, Social Inclusion, and Healthy Aging,” implemented by Juzoor for Health and Social Development with the support of Caritas Germany.
