Juzoor Signs Cooperation Agreement with Palestine Islamic Bank to Support Healthcare Services in the Gaza Strip
As part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen healthcare services in the Gaza Strip, Juzoor for Health and Social Development signed a cooperation agreement with the Palestinian Islamic Bank to equip five health centers with the medical equipment and medicines needed to provide primary healthcare services in the most affected areas.
This collaboration comes within the organization’s broader efforts to expand its health and community services and respond to the growing needs amid the difficult humanitarian conditions facing the Gaza Strip. The initiative aims to enhance the capacity of health centers to receive larger numbers of patients, improve the quality of services provided, and ease the pressure on existing healthcare facilities.
We take pride in this collaboration, which represents an effective model of partnership between Palestinian institutions, contributing to strengthening community resilience and ensuring the continuity of essential healthcare services for the most vulnerable groups.
It is worth noting that Juzoor currently operates 12 community health centers across the Gaza Strip, in addition to 10 medical points, providing services to nearly 100,000 patients monthly and reaching thousands of children. These services include primary healthcare, malnutrition treatment, community-based rehabilitation programs, and psychosocial support services.
