Juzoor for Health and Social Development, in partnership with the Al-Tufula Pedagogical and Multipurpose Women's Center's – Nazareth and with support from Choose Love Organization, conducted a specialized training in Jerusalem targeting a group of counselors and professionals working in the field of mental health and psychosocial support (MHPSS) in schools and community institutions.

The training focused on strengthening individual and group empowerment skills, and on developing practical tools for providing psychosocial support to children and their families, contributing to enhanced resilience and mental well-being amid the increasing challenges faced by the Palestinian community.

This training comes under the “Training of Trainers” () program, where participants will later transfer the knowledge and training materials to other groups of practitioners and interested individuals in the field of mental health and psychosocial support, thereby expanding outreach and ensuring the sustainability of community-based interventions.

Juzoor emphasized the importance of investing in the capacity building of local professionals and fostering meaningful partnerships to create safe and supportive environments for children and families, particularly in fragile and crisis-affected contexts, especially in Jerusalem.
