Specialized Training at Ayadi 4040 to Strengthen Breast Cancer Diagnosis Capacity
Juzoor for Health and Social Development, in collaboration with the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) and with support from the Australian Government, organized an intensive ten-day training program in partnership with Ayadi 4040 Hospital in Alexandria, Egypt. The program aimed to strengthen the capacities of Palestinian medical personnel in the early detection and diagnosis of breast cancer.
The training targeted nine female physicians and radiology specialists from various directorates of the Palestinian Ministry of Health across the country. It focused on enhancing both practical and theoretical skills in clinical examination, early detection, and mammography, in addition to advanced technical aspects related to interpreting diagnostic images and determining appropriate treatment pathways.
This training comes as part of Juzoor’s ongoing efforts to support and build the capacities of healthcare providers, in partnership with the Palestinian Ministry of Health and UNFPA, contributing to improving the quality of early detection services and healthcare provided to Palestinian women.
Juzoor also commended the leading role and advanced expertise of Ayadi 4040 Hospital in the diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer, emphasizing the importance of strengthening medical and training partnerships that contribute to developing Palestinian medical competencies and advancing specialized healthcare services.
Participants highlighted the importance of the training and the valuable hands-on experience and new skills it provided, which will support early detection services and enhance the quality of care offered to women. The delegation from Juzoor was accompanied by two health experts who supervised and followed up on the implementation of the training program.
