“Our Colors Speak” – An Interactive Activity as Part of the Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign

As part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month activities in October, Juzoor for Health and Social Development, in collaboration with the Patient’s Friends Benevolent Society, organized an interactive event at the Beita Center in the Old City of Hebron, bringing together 40 women living with cancer and cancer survivors.

The event featured creative and expressive activities, including painting a collective mural, alongside a psychosocial support and emotional expression session. These activities provided participants with a safe space to express their feelings, share their experiences, and strengthen connections and mutual support.

This activity was held as part of the campaign “Your Health Deserves Attention… Early Detection Makes a Difference,” implemented in partnership with Welthungerhilfe (WHH), Diakonie Katastrophenhilfe (DKH), and International Orthodox Christian Charities (IOCC), with support from the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).

The campaign is also carried out in collaboration with the Palestinian Ministry of Health, the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA), and Augusta Victoria Hospital in Jerusalem.
