Juzoor’s Gender-Based Violence (GBV) Prevention Program
With support from the Federal Republic of Germany, Juzoor implemented a comprehensive GBV prevention program targeting women, girls, caregivers, local organizations, and community members in Jenin and Tubas governorates. The program aimed to prevent GBV, strengthen protection systems, and ensure survivors receive appropriate support within their communities. The program’s main components included: Capacity Building; Community Awareness and Outreach; Coordination and Advocacy; Community Engagement; and Needs Assessment Findings.
Cultural norms restricting women’s rights, fear of disclosure, limited access to services, lack of information, and the need for psychosocial support were identified as key challenges affecting GBV prevention and response.
