Job title: Senior Health Adviser

Holds an MA in Public Health from Birzeit University (2003), a Primary Health Care Specialty from the Institution of Nursing Specialized Study/USAID in Amman, Jordan (1993), and a BSc in Nursing from Bethlehem University, Palestine (1980).

Brings over 40 years of successful leadership and management experience in the health sector. Responsibilities have included planning, implementation, training, mentoring, supervision, monitoring, and evaluation of health services for Palestinian refugees. Led the monitoring and evaluation of the Health Information System (HIS) across 43 Primary Health Care (PHC) facilities and oversaw Result-Based Management (RBM) tasks such as health data analysis, indicator tracking, and reporting. Actively coordinated with staff to implement corrective actions aimed at improving service quality and health outcomes. Supervised the delivery and quality of programs focused on communicable and non-communicable diseases, women’s reproductive health within a life cycle approach, early childhood development (ECD), mental health, and infection prevention and control. Also served as the focal point for Gender and Protection, ensuring integration of these priorities across health services.

Currently serves as a Health Adviser at Juzoor for Health & Social Development since April 2021.
