Halla Allabadi

Dr. Allabadi is an epidemiologist and public health professional who is dedicated to improve and promote health equity and address the underlying determinants of health disparities in Palestinian communities and healthcare system. With a PhD in Epidemiology and Public Health from the Swiss Tropical and Public Health Institute in Switzerland, coupled with a Master's degree in Public Health from Ecoles Hautes de Sante Publique in Paris, France, Dr. Allabadi has cultivated a deep understanding of the complexities of public health challenges and the strategies required to address them effectively.

Dr. Allabadi currently serves as the Research and Policy Manager at Juzoor for Social and Health Development in Ramallah, Palestine, where she leads research initiatives and projects geared towards improving social and health outcomes in Palestine and the region. In this capacity, Dr. Allabadi employs her expertise to craft comprehensive research studies that provide actionable insights for policymakers and healthcare professionals. The research activities at Juzoor encompass a broad spectrum of domains, including maternal, neonatal, and child health, early childhood development, adolescent health, non-communicable diseases, sexual and reproductive health, nutrition, mental health, disabilities, and healthy ageing.
