Juzoor Signs Agreement with Al-Makassed Hospital to Enhance Medical Training and Fellowship Programs

Juzoor for Health and Social Development welcomed a delegation from Al-Makassed Hospital at its new headquarters, headed by Dr. Omar Abu Zaida, Director General, along with Dr. Adnan Farhoud and members of the administrative and financial teams. The delegation was received by Dr. Salwa Al-Najab, Chair of the Board, and Dr. Umaiyeh Khammash, Juzoor Director General along with members of the team.

Dr. Al-Najab highlighted the importance of partnerships with leading national health institutions, particularly Al-Makassed Hospital, for their vital role in advancing healthcare and medical education in Palestine.

Juzoor presented its vision to develop Palestinian healthcare professionals through fellowship programs, scholarships, and subspecialties, aiming to strengthen the health sector, localize specialized services, and reduce medical referrals abroad.

Dr. Abu Zaida reviewed Al-Makassed Hospital’s 2030 strategy and key development projects, including a new educational and training center, emphasizing the importance of collaboration with Juzoor.

The meeting explored opportunities to enhance medical training and continuing education, providing doctors with advanced professional development opportunities.

The visit concluded with the signing of a cooperation agreement to support and train doctors in subspecialty programs at Al-Makassed Hospital, contributing to improved healthcare quality.

Both parties reaffirmed their commitment to ongoing collaboration in developing health, education, and training initiatives that strengthen the Palestinian healthcare system and meet growing community needs.
